How easy is setup? Do I need to configure anything?
Setup takes about 30 seconds. Click "Add to Discord", select your server from the dropdown, and click Authorize. That's it β€” VerifyGuard starts protecting your server immediately. No commands to run, no configuration required. You can optionally customize settings later with /config if you want.
What is the Global User Database?
Every user who verifies through VerifyGuard gets added to our global database. When you use /lookup, you can see their verification history across ALL servers using VerifyGuard β€” not just yours. If they've been banned elsewhere or have a history of VPN usage, you'll know immediately.
How is the risk score calculated?
Risk scores (0-100) are calculated from multiple factors: account age, VPN/proxy usage, ban history across servers, device fingerprint signals, and verification patterns. New accounts with VPN might score 60+. Established accounts with clean history score under 20.
What happens if a real user gets flagged?
Users with medium risk scores are shown a CAPTCHA instead of being blocked. You control the thresholds β€” set 30 for CAPTCHA and 70 for kick, or adjust based on your community's needs. Admins can always manually verify users with /verifyuser.
Is my users' data safe?
We collect only what's needed for verification. Data is used to protect communities β€” not sold to advertisers. You can export and delete data anytime. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
